  1. I sure couldn't find anything better

Posted by Bob Forrester - Forrester Construction on 28th Feb 2011

I looked and finally settle on this kit. This is the best value I found. Not sure what the other reviewer found but I looked for almost a year. This kit does the trick, runs tools, lights, and some electronics on a job sit without the noisy gen howling

  2. Better options out there for the price

Posted by Lon Y on 15th Jul 2010

I would go with the Emergency backup system, this one was too expensive for what you get.

  3. Just heavy, the only downside

Posted by J&B Barth on 17th Feb 2010

We're using for emergency backup power, we live in hurricane country. we like it and we power our stuff with it when we go into the back woods too. had to rig up a little dolly to move it around, a litle heavy for carrying!

  4. Totally works, runs a freezer in sunny weather

Posted by Big Game Guy on 2nd Nov 2009

the first few weeks we didn't have much sun but it still worked ok. Once i got it fully charged it would run a freezer for 14hours, so if the sun stays out this thing will take the freezer off the grid. can't get much easier, just unpack it, charge it, plug stuff into it. make sure you face the panel south and you might want to mount it because some folks have their panels stolen!

  5. A little expensive but this is the best we found

Posted by Unknown on 20th Oct 2009

running a fridge with it and happy to have it. took a little work to get it going since we didn't have much sun. now the solar generator is running great. got to make sure the panel faces south and no shading or it doesn't work well at all. sj
