It’s a given that the makers of Sharp solar panels are going to claim that the panels they make are the best on the market. And although this may be true, a person getting ready for a major purchase such as this must find out for himself which panels will work best in his home.
Some of the things that may lead a person to believe that these panels are the best on the market are:
• In 2004, Sharp was responsible for the production of more than one quarter of all the solar panels created that year. Even since that time, Sharp continues to be the number one manufacturer of solar panels.
• The company is using technology created in many places throughout the world to better understand solar energy and how it works in different temperatures and climates. Tests and studies are consistently done at Sharp offices in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Japan.
• A long history of using solar panels for important projects is prevalent in Sharp’s history. For example, in 1976, Sharp first installed a PV system to power a Japanese satellite in outer space. The panels have continued to evolve in their use and functionality since that time.
• The company also practices what they preach. Sharp does not simply produce Sharp solar panels, but also uses these panels in many places. Sharp buildings with panels on them that are used for operational or research purposes can be found in China, Germany, Mongolia, and Japan.
The fact that Sharp solar panels have a long history is evidence that their products continue to be used, even several years after their inception.
