Using a solar heater for an outdoor pool is one way to kill two birds with one stone. First of all, the pool owner will be able to get a warm pool, regardless of the temperature in the air. Secondly, the pool owners will have a chance to save the environment and money at the same time.
These heaters for pools work by pumping the normal cold water from a pool through tubes until it is heated by the heating system. This process can be compared to the same thing that takes place when a garden hose that has water in it is left out in the summer heat.
The UV rays from the sunlight heat the water, when the hose is turned on, the water that comes out is significantly warmer than the water that had not been in the hose.
These solar heaters tend to be able to heat pools at an increase of 10-15 degrees over the course of a few days.
